Yeah, I googled it too! The big two seem to be a 'smaller-scale celebration' (aka less guests) and a simpler timeline.
Here is my translation: Smaller scale equals only the people who matter to you, the faces you want to see after your first kiss, the ones who you can't imagine not hugging on your wedding day and simpler timeline means only doing the things that matter to you, don't want a dance floor..simple = don't have one.
Google missed this though...micro doesn't mean less...in my very official opinion it means more--more intimate, more significant, and more cake for me!
In these uncertain times it means not sacrificing the chance to celebrate. So grab the people you love, and get to planning a day that is meaningful, intimate and full to the brim with love!
So, congrats! You still get the wedding day you deserve..and more!

You heard me right! Tiny weddings have always been my style. Of course, as a 10 year wedding photographer veteran, I love the celebration...BUT when all you get to do is shake hands and thank your amazing guests for coming it can easily become a lot less fun.
So I am just like you; making my way through these crazy new times, but refusing to not have a wedding that feels the way I want it too: Elegant, easy, and focused on family!
On to my tiny Bio...I photographed my first wedding two weeks after I graduated from college (and that was over 10 years ago). Since then I have worked for 3 Boutique Wedding Studios, photographed over 100 weddings, and created a life I adore.
Spoiler alert: that last one is by far the most important! That life includes an awesome man, two adorable girls, and one incredibly fluffy dog.
